Hidden Place by Bjork, (as well as the whole thematic feeling of the album Vespertine)

I think spiritual is a human feeling of something more powerful than your own parents, your government, that created you and has great control of your world. Monotheistic religions attribute this to a singular god that controls all and is omnipotent. Polytheistic religions such as paganism belive in various gods that have different powers.
I think religions explain the complex world at work in simplistic ways that have been revised thru thousands of years and in latter years by kings and leaders with their own agendas.
Everything has an effect on everything in the world, it is all connected. I believe that doing 'good' results in 'good' being spread. 'Heaven' could be here on earth if we all put aside our differences (relgious and otherwise) and realized that we have the capacity to help each other achieve the most enlightened state. Infinity allows for all things possible in the future, so maybe ressurrection is possible.

Anyhow, I feel most spiritually connected to Bjork's music because it focuses on nature as a powerful force. She sings about love in such a powerful & spiritual way.

"Through the warmthest cord of care
Your love was sent to me
I'm not sure what to do with it
Or where to put it"
.....
"To almost have allowed once fingers
To stroke
The fingers i was given to touch with
But careful careful

There lies my passion hidden
There lies my love
I'll hide it under a blanket
Lull it to sleep"

"i'll keep it in a hidden place"

angK, I looked up the lyrics to Assemblage 23 - Divide, and I like them. Here are the lyrics:

EDIT: I just downloaded a sample mp3 from their site, and I'm not digging the sound. It's kind of a garage version of Depeche Mode. Good read though.

I believe by Brooks and Dunn
It talks aboutm there being more to life than just what is here, believing that there is a place on the other side that is going to mean more than what we have here on earth. Jesus take the Wheel by Carrie Underwood is a good song also.

"Divide" by Assemblage 23. I'm a magic practitioner, and this song is so enormously descriptive of a spiritual journey that ends only at a plateau, not an ending--plus amazing imagery about willworking--is a favorite of mine.

Jeremy Camp - Walk by Faith.
It describes how I desire my life to be completely. Only with faith will I be able to continue when time are difficult. Trust and hope in my Jesus, my Lord and Friend. :)
