I don't think smoking should be allowed in public areas at all unless it is in an enclosed area or outside where there is enough fresh air to dilute its affects. Smoking is something that affects everyone, whether they are the ones holding the cigarette or not.

Not in "Public" areas, as defined as being open to all public. But there should be some enclosed Public areas for smokers only. I am a non-smoker, and I prefer not to be forced to breathe in your some, and carcinogens.

No, but bars and restaurants should not be considered 'Public' in as far as the 'public' occupy the place as they are private businesses, thus smoking in shopping malls, public transport etc should be banned but private businesses such as bars and resturants should have the choice to allow smoking or not.

I'm a smoker and it should only be aloud in well ventalated area's. It is rude to make other's uncomfortable just for our habits. There should be designated area's designed to clear the smoke and make everyone happy.

It shouldn't be allowed. In California, that is a "no, no". If possible go the management office and complain. They can put up a sign.
