I keep hearing that George Bush used to be a serious alchoholic and was also addicted to cocaine in his "younger years"

He is a recovering alcoholic and was known to have done cocaine.

There are a number of accounts of substance abuse and otherwise disorderly conduct by Bush from this time. Bush has admitted to drinking "too much" in those years and described this period of his life as his "nomadic" period of "irresponsible youth".

On September 4, 1976, at the age of 30, Bush was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol near his family's summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine. He pleaded guilty, was fined $150, and had his driver's license suspended until 1978 in Maine. Bush was able to keep his drunk driving arrest a secret throughout his years as governor of Texas.

GW did have an alcohol problem but I was not aware he had a cocaine addiction. If he did, he has certainly overcame some huge obstacles to become the LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!! How does that grab you left-wing mooncalves?

I don't know about cocaine but I know for a fact that he use to be a huge drunk. I'm not convinced yet that he still isn't.

By his own admission yes, he said he had these addictions but beat them with the power of prayer and the love of his family

he looks like a crackhead to me. he can't even talk proprely. yes he used to get drunk on listerine back in his $hithole in texas laying on a bull's behind. plus it runs in the family, both his daughters make fools out of themselves being drunk. for the cocaine, i wouldn't doubt it, he sounds funny it could be some nasal vessel lol
