I've had that problem...My suggestion is to just 'keep' being 'you'...It is far more important how the person you love feels about you...not others..
If you are happy with 'who' you are, and you aren't some kind of maniac...you will project a positive image and those who don't like you now, may very well like you down the road.
Let it remain 'their' problem...don't allow it to become a problem for you and the one you are in love with.

Don't give a f**k about their parents. It's that person's life and eventually the parents will just stop caring about that person.

Usually parents wants perfection for their children. However, if you truly love your partner then ignore his/her parents as long as their not doing anything to you badly. Just be yourself and always remember your not going to marry the parent if it comes to that.

Be nice when you are around them and try not to act like to much like an ***. Try and see maybe why they don't like you by what you do around them. Watch how they act around you. Body movements, eye contact between the parents.

parents are special...like you ones...what u can do is..try to get their attention by being good with them...by talking polite with them...care about them as u care about ur parents...
also try to explain how much u love their daughter or son...
tell them that u r strong enough to take care of their daughter or son...say can give up anything for her/him...
Your partner to be too should be strong in that case....

Kill em with kindness whenever you run into them. Do not throw yourself in their attention on purpose but when the occassion arrives just be SO Pleasant... They can't stand it.
