anyone that chooses final fantasy VII over OOT doesn't know what they are talking about.
zelda's OOT was a completely new game. sure, it might have a lot of stuff from earlier games, but at least it wasn't a COMPLETE RIP OFF of the previous title, the way FFVII was.
ok, so FFVII only used the same magic system as VI, but they forgot to include storylines for each of the characters. nobody even knows who marlene is, other than a little girl that barret used to be guardian to.
as for OOT, the gameplay is almost flawless, for it's time. god, i didn't think i would ever say that. i'm not the kind of guy that goes for graphics. give me Lufia 2 over final fantasy X any day. every day, in fact.

I have to say that i have played both games, and i have played all of the games from the Zelda series and most of the final fantasy games. But i think Zelda is the better by far, i love the o.o.t, it is one of the top two of the series for sure. But final fantasy is also very good as well.

i dont see why people ask such stupid questions. i am pretty sure it is ff7......... just kidding. zelda ocarina of time (or oot i will call it this from now one) i mainly like zelda oot because of all the things you can do. you can go fishing, ride a horse, shoot ugly monsters where ever you want to with many different things. need i say more? might as well. not to mention with zelda you have a classic storyline. you run to differnt places and get specially things. the bosses are unique in there own special way. you can get pretty neat weapons as well. so in conclusion zelda wipes the FLOOR with ff7. although i do like the movie of advent children.

Final Fantasy 7 has so much more depth, better graphics and now some more sequels, but fishing on Ocarina of Time was awesome!!!

Ocarina of Time has got to be the best game that was ever put out. Its going to be unbeatable by any game of the same genre...
If my brother hadnt stolen my N64, I would be playing it right now :-)

I live for Ocarina of Time!!!! ...or at least I used to. Then I beat the game....and lost it, but I'd play it if I still had it. In conclusion LINK! W0ot woOt !

As much of a FF fan I am, I still have to go with LOZ, Ocarina of Time! One of my all time fave games! I still break out my N64 to play it!
