ohh they get away with that because they call it a winter break. just the same as when they also thought Saddam had wmd but now act like bush just lied to them. just like when they make such a fuss over civil liberty's, and freedom of speech, preach tolerance, but yet use every method to silence or smear thous who disagree with them, and try to force their perverted believe that its okay to be homosexual and try and redefine marriage and every other traditional value that makes this country great. as you can see Libby made my point yet again, see disagrees with you and now threats of having you banned ( silenced ) need we say more. The Congressmen have family to, you know. You are so focused on the irrelevant....Liberals do celebrate holidays too, you know. Christmas means many different things to many different people. To some it is a day of worship, others a day of family and friends...it just depends. Being a liberal dose not make you a bad person....neither dose being a conservative. Each side has its own special view points about certain topics, and we must remember that we share the same love for the same country, no matter how different our stances are. We are all humans, and deserve to be respected all the same.

I work with a lot of people at the VA and come across many who lean towards being Liberal and I have to say from my experience as a war vet myself, as a therapist, as a church goer, as a human being that actually pays attention, that there are probably as many Liberal people who are Christians as there are Conservative Christians.

Its not just liberals....its "all" Americans that believe in the separation of church and state. The reason for this is not to protect religion from government but to protect government from religious fanaticism...and not become like Iran.
