It depends on where ya are!
My favorite "King of the Hill" episode was Bobby trying to impress a girl by eating and 80 ounce steak and after he "WON" finding out she was vegetarian and was mortified watching him eat.
He vowed to never "show off for girls" again. HA HA

Lol, thats funny you would say personal challenge. I think does places are great. As long as you know your limit and have at least one thing from the dessert bar. But if you know you're on a diet.. why even tease yourself? You know darn well your not there for the salads. Be in control of your eating habbits. Now me, I'm pregnant so I take ever chance I get to go to those buffets. I'm eating for two damnit! Let me have my huge steak and two slices of red velvet cake. Oh damn. Now I'm drooling. Look what u did!!!!!!

Staffs of restaurants with all you can eat buffets wince when they see me enter. I weigh 320 pounds at 6'1", and I can eat plenty if I wish. I recall weighing 12 lbs. more after one meal than I did before it...and that was when I was a boy.

No, but my husband's nephew does. OMG he can eat 5-6 plates of Chinese food piled high and then have dessert afterward. I have never seen anyone who could eat like him.

It depends on what it is. If it's the salad bar at "Golden Coral", yes.
They have more than just tossed salad, they also have mac salad, chicken, pizza, and just about anything else you could think of. To bad it went out of business here in my area.
