I think a lot of time people misuse the term. A girl gets called a hoe whenever someone thinks that what she is doing is unapropriate. If someone called you a hoe, ask yourself why and than you be the judge if they are right or not.

Just put it like this...It is not a good thing...When someone calls you a hoe then they see you as someone that haves sex with anyone and that your easy to get with.....basically being Promiscuious...And guys like to call a girl a hoe in a second...When most of them are the biggest hoe's of all...

A HOE is a degrading word. SOME use it 4 a whore. BUT hoe can mean a prositute as well. HOE is also another word 4 a loose woman a looser.

I think that depends on who's saying it and how there saying it.
example One of your friends say to you I don't believe you just went over there and started to talk to those guy's Then they say why your nothing but a little hoe. Althought the word does mean whore. It's not taken that way because it's friends saying it.
But if it was somebody you didn't know well then you'll be ready to fight.

It is HO and usually it isn't meant as offensive though if I was a young lady I would be offended. A young man that calls a young lady that is not respectful and shouldn't be calling anyone that. Don't pay attention, don't take too much offense but don't satisfy that which he is asking either!

it can be the way you present yourself, making yourself look too easy by showing off skin, and if you have messed around with lots of guys, either by sex or making out. those things make you a hoe
