How do you read the guitar tabs? please help me and let me know... your help will be very much appreciated. ty

Think of it like this. The lines represent the strings (the top line is your top string and so on). Then the number is the number of the fret where you should put your finger on that string. ( count the frets starting from the head and going towards the body of the guitar) I hope that helps.
