We have to get dressed up for school where I teach choir and I am getting ready to plan my costume but I am fresh out of ideas! I need something really creative. The school goes all out. Not Witches allowed! Some good ideas please?

The school has really out there Ideas. Someone was Dr. Phil last year. Someone else was that lady you see in the old ad's with the bandana and she is flexing her arm...I forgot her name. I need something creative. Not something that you could easily buy at every party store you go to.

I went as a can of Dr. Pepper one year. Two heavy wire hoops (coathangers are perfect), maroon-colored fabric, a couple paint pens, suspenders, and a bit of time sewing.
One I've wanted to try for a while--and this would be time consuming and possibly pricey, but well worth it--is the Mona Lisa. Get a good-sized piece of foam rubber or something else that's relatively solid but light enough to wear...cut a sloping hole in it so you can wear it over your hips and waist but still facing forward...and then paint in the background and frame, wear appropriate clothing, and smile enigmatically all day.

Fiona the Human, blended with Ciel Phantomhive, i'm gonna have Ciel's hair and eypatch, with the garments of Fiona. i recognize it sounds stupid, yet i prefer to be both Ciel and Fiona, so im in basic terms blending it up. Plus, I did order a Ciel gown, this is not gonna deliver till next week. (and this is coming from Hong Kong)

Angel would be a great outfit for a Choir teacher if it's not too controversial for your school. Not a difficult costume to do well either.

Go to Wal-mart - They have this real cool fabric -its black velvet with red spiders and webs all over it make you a skirt out of it wear a black shirt with it if you have left over fabric make a shawl ez and different Oh yea if you do this sew with zig-zag stich it sews better than a straight line on this fabric.
