no, no antidote, I can just tell you that you are not alone. Almost everyone, if truthful, has been rejected at least once in their lives. So just chalk it up to experience, and go on.

And yes, it does hurt. but that is all part of the growing up experience. Sometimes being age 5 sounds pretty good......

it does hurt. best thing is to get your mind off of it and move on. Try calling some friends and doing something with them. If you're alone go to chat room or play an online game like dominoes and strike up a chat conversation with someone about some off the wall topic. Talk about something silly or off the wall, try to laugh and you'll be closer to getting over the rejection. I have not met a person who has not been rejected by someone at some point in their life. Good luck and try to remember that eventually you'll get over it.

Two parts Vodka
Two parts Dark Rum
One Part Coffee Liquor
One Part Butterscotch Schnapps
One Part Peppermint Schnapps,

This will keep your mind off of it till the ache fades, who ever said time heals all wounds was wrong I am still waiting for the pain of the death of my first wife to fade, It doesn't hurt as much yet there are still some songs that I can't listen to. When the Pain fades stand up and go at it again.

We all get rejected at some point in our lives.
But don't worry, things will look up. I used to get rejected in junior high and now, I can barely beat all the guys off of me with a stick.

Just keep getting back on the horse, you'll be fine =]
