The cost can be anywhere form hundreds to thousands of dollar depending on what you want, but why do you need a gun that huge. The 357 is a hand cannon, a 38 or a nine would do just fine, the 357 has one heck of a kick on it. And it only holds 6 shot's, the 9 has 15 in the clip and one in the chamber and the kick is very small so grouping your shots is a lot easier. plus it has good stopping power as well. I would suggest a browning 9 mm.
