and I had no idea what they came to hear. I delivered the speech of my life and got the standing O. Used to have the same dream years ago, only opposite results. What is going on?

I know I'm asking dream questions ... I really do have these dreams. Then something happens a few days later in real life and I remember the dream. Whazzup?

I know what you mean about something happen a few days later and then you remember you're dream. I dream all the time too, at least once a night. If you want an analysis of your dream, I agree with what someone said earlier... about you acheiving something. It also sounds like maybe something that you used to not be good at you have mastered or at least you preceive mastery. But I don't believe that every dream you have has a meaning to it. I dream way too much and they are so off-the-wall. I think that sometimes dreams are simply the minds way of releasing tension and relaxing with out concentration. But I do believe that bad dreams, reach down into you fears, like I have recurring dreams of cat-like animals (cougars, tigers) because I have a deep fear of them. Dreams also show your optimism or pessimism which is in your nature. I am a semi-pessimist so I tend to have bad dreams because I think the worst a lot and believe that you have some control over the direction in which your dream takes, therefore my tend to be on the negative side.

I think folks have been pretty right-on with their answers here - this pretty much represents your accomplishments and over-all pleasure with them - a recognition, if you will.

While a lot of dreams might give you insight into what you want in life, some are confirmation of facts that you should already be aware of and might not have seen in that light.

You know that you're good at your job, that you can meet the unexpected challenges and conquer them - that you have skill and influence in the lives of others, and that these people do appreciate your input.

I'd say that this dream is your brain patting you on the back. LOL.
