social you have lots of clubs to go to you have south street that you can go too. about the crime rate just mind you ps and qs and you should be ok i wouldnt recomend going out at night by yourself though but really it is not that bad. My brother and sister used to go over there all the time we lived right across from the water we lived in south jeresey near camdan so we could see philly from where we lived. They uused to go over there to go to the clubs and to south street. I myself and my whole family loved there cheese steaks. I do not know too much about the job scene though but my mom's best friend used to cross the bridge to go to work every morning she worked at sears well used they closed i think now but im sure there is plenty of work there since it is a busy city.

I think that you'd be overrun by tourists because Philadelphia is where all historic stuff is, like the Liberty Bell. But I think it would be nice to live there because you'll be around all that stuff and get to meet new people.
I'm sure the crime rate is low since they probably have a lot of cops there to protect the historic stuff.

On the tombstone, a famous comedian of early motion pictures has engraved...."Better here than in Philadelphia". I feel the same. Streets are narrow andd with the emphasis on Heritage, the place looks shabby to me. The only noteworthy thing was Bookbinders Restaurant.
