If you can find a 'Build-a-bear' workshop, they are LOTS of fun! Not only can you pick what kind of stuffed animal to stuff, place a small silk heart in its chest, along with recording your voice in it, etc. You can pick from all kinds of clothing and accessories. Football uniforms, suits, costumes, boots, etc. My kids LOVED going there and beg to build a bear every year!

I'm getting ready to have my little boys 5th birthday party and we are going to have it at the bowling alley were they will put the bumpers in the gutters for you so they have a fighting chance and generally they have quite a few games like chucke cheese in case the little ones get bored bowling I promise you will have a blast, he did it last year on New Years and had so much fun and so did my 2yr old!

I'm not sure where you live.....or what your son likes. If you are somewhere outdoors you may want to check your local zoo----they do great parties for kids where the kids can interact with some of the animals. If outside activities are difficult due to weather, maybe you can have an indoor party---set up your living room with tents, turn off the lights, give all the kids flash lights...make trees from cardboard....turn it into an indoor-camping adventure party. That'd be inexpensive and fun.

A backyard camp out....with a real fire, smores, stories, games, treasure hunt. Have the other parents come help....it makes a great family-based get together for the other parents and you too! Also it is pretty cheap. Use tents people already have. Have the other parents bring their kids favorite food to share. Help the kids make the birthday cake too.

Thay will always remember it.

It depends on where you live. You could have cake and ice cream then take them all to the YMCA. or the local indoor pool Sometimes the Holiday inn or other motels have areas for parties in the cold weather. Of course if you live by the ocean, in Florida or Southern California that would be stupid. .
