You (or your insurance company) pay.
Major League Ballparks are usually responsible for you and your property once you go INSIDE the park. The parking lot in most cases is run by an independent company and they almost always have signs like "The management of this lot is not responsible for any theft or damage to your vehicle."

You do. It says on the back of your ticket stub that they are not responsible for damages like that.
If you are sitting in the stands and get your nose broken by a foul ball, they still are not liable.
There was a 93 year old lady who went to every White Sox game for 50 years or some crazy thing like that. She was hit by a ball and hospitalized. The team refused to pay or help her because I imagine that would have set a precedence. So if a team thinks like that, what would they think about your windshield?

The manufacturer of the baseball pays for it. Seriously, though, you take responsibility for parking it there.

Here's a different scenario: I worked for a company that had their parking lot adjacent to a high school baseball field. We had a lot of cars with broken windshields in the spring. In this case, the high school did not pay for it, but since we were there for work instead of the baseball game, the company paid for it. But I started work early enough in the morning that I got a spot closer to the building instead of the baseball field.

Your insurance should pay.

Some of the baseball fanatics wouldn't mind if this happen to them. They'd think it is awesome that their windshield got broken that way.

If you have comprehensive insurance, it is declared an act of God...therefore, the insurance company must blame the ball. And since the ball ain't gonna whip out some cash and defray the repair expenses, the insurance company will cover it.

Well, if it's anything like golf, nobody but you pays for it. I was told by an insurance man that when you are on the golf course or have a home near the golf course, you have assumed the responsibilty of a possible accident. Trust me...I hit a man in the eye, once. He lost his vision in that eye. He tried to sue me but he had no case. As horrible as it was, it was an accident. I was not faulted.

You are assuming a reasonable risk if you park your car near a ballfield. It does not make a difference if you are parked in a lot owned by the team. Check out that little ticket you get whenever you pay to park your car -- it basically says you have no rights!

your insurance should pay.

You do. By parking near a baseball game, you assume the risk of any damages.

Probably you. Read the fine print on the game ticket, and on the parking voucher. Odds are they say that they are not responsible for injury or damage.
