My buddy called me and pretended that he worked for the IRS. He knew enough about my income and taxes to really get me going. He had me fooled for about 10 minutes before I finally worked out that it was him. That was a good one.

Around two years ago. Unfortunately for him, I have a caller ID and after the prank call, I placed the phone on auto-redial and kept on ringing him up and every time he picked up the receiver, I told him that he will not be able to place any call that whole night. The auto-redial worked the whole night and he never bothered using the phone after that--it just kept ringing.
No one dared make a prank call after that.

It was more of a sick call than a prank call. Somebody called us, my wife ansered at 3 am. A woman yelled in a panic, my child is drowning in your pool. Really creepy and sick, as we have little kids. It was beyond a prank.
I remember somebody would call my house when I was a kid, and say Wells Fargo, and then hang up, that was funny, whatever that meant.

I consider all unsolicited calls from people and business selling anythng to be a prank phone call. Lately the calls are for consolidating debts. I don't have any.

wow, probably back in high school which was like 7 years ago. Now it's time share calls and credit card offers, and don't forget to vote calls. Man i really miss prank calls, they were way less annoying.

It was a bunch of giggling pre-teen kids who were laughing so hard that they couldn't even say anything, at least until one of the kids finally yelled the word "cocks*cker!" and slammed down the phone. They were so inept at prank calling that they had me laughing, too.

Caller ID made it a dieing art. If you want to hear some funny calls ROY MERCER. Do a google search.

the other night a young girl called my cell phone at 5 in the morning and said that she was my husband's girlfriend and that she was pregnant but she did not know my husband's name so i cussed her out and she hung up on me.
