Urine tests are not 100% accurate. Urine tests measure the amount of HGC in your urine, they are most accurate if taken in the morning with your first pee, since it is the most concentrated. Blood tests are much more accurate, since they measure the amount of HGC in your blood. HGC is the hormone that your body produces when you are pregnant! If you are unsure, you should definitely make an appointment to see your Dr!

well, urine tests aren't as sensitive to the level of hormones in your urine. your levels may not be high enough for the test to detect, so if it's very early in your suspected pregnancy then a blood test will be more accurate. false negatives are common with urine tests due to the level of detection, false positives are extremely rare.

I was told by a Dr years ago they are the same type that we use at home so it would be as accurate as the home test but the blood test is better

not always. My sister-in law went to the doctors they told her by giving her a urine test she wasnt pregnant they gave her a blood test she was actually pregnant the urine test was wrong.
