Duh------- The only reason we as Americans haven't been attacked since 911 is cuz we woke up out of our dead and got better security for our homeland, and that's it period!!! It has absolutely nothing to do with going off to fight any war, whether it be Iraq, afganistan, or any place else we are stationed. Believe me, if we went back to our old way of securing our borders tomorrow, I gurantee and promise you that we will be attacked very soon. Where's the democracy? All we have over there is a damn big mess! Bush will say anything for his BS political gain. Yea, he will say anything to further deceive tha american public, but he won't deceive me cuz I can see right through his damn soul. And if nobody believes what I'm saying then you need to leave that crack alone! Now don't make me have to come down there, cuz I'll slap you silly! lol

Bush is an idiot. I know America has done a lot with your homeland security. Although, I don't think that's the only reason why there hasn't been another attack. I think America is very vulnerable if somebody wanted to attack again. You don't honestly believe that your borders are safe. I mean look at all the illegal immigrants just walking on in. I'm sure there's already a bunch of "terrorists" living in the US.
Being in Iraq isn't making you any safer and I'm glad you're smart enough to able to see through Bush and all the bs.

Wow, yet another whining, cry baby, liberal, rhetoric spewing Bush basher.
No sources, no alternative ideas, no facts, no agenda - hell, just keep bashing and hating and you'll have a front row seat when your beloved Democratic party crashes and burns in 2008.
Don't you get it? The negativity and hate agenda isn't working.
Agree or disagree with the present agenda and policies concerning the safety of American citizens - at least the Republicans HAVE an agenda. What's yours? Is it a secret? Give me some reasons to vote Democratic - and not a reason to simply vote against a Republican.

That is only his line. We are not really any safer. If anything , we are in far more danger because the rest of the world no longer respects us and won't come to our aid because of the Bush War. We are on our own, just the way Bush likes it. YOU sound like you need to hit that pipe again.

I'm still amazed at how that jacka$$ managed to undo the things that some presidents and average citizens before him have managed to work so hard for. Has he not learned from Nixon and his mistakes? Thanks to Bush our national debt is unbelievably out of control! Looks like I won't be retiring until I'm 99. And why was it such a big shock to folks that he and his administration did nothing about Hurricane Katrina?! He proved himself a loser years before, and he's an even larger dip sh*t today.

It's obvious you're on the crack pipe! Been hitting it to long. When would you suggest we finally respond to the attacks that have been happening to our interest abroad (embassy attacks and the like) as well as at home (1st wtc attack). When is a good time to finally wake up!

Because Bush (and other people) are ignoring the fact that foreign terrorist attacks have consistently occurred every 7-9 years on the average, going back to the 1970s. So, Bush doesn't get any special credit for not blowing the average by having an attack sooner.

When did he say that. Proof please. And if the thousands of terrorists that have been caught or killed in Iraq don't make us safer, what would? I am glad the terrorists are using resources to fight us overseas rather than here.
Bush is not the only one making decisions on Iraq and elsewhere, I assure you.

I don't think he's in Iraq to help the war on "terror"--I think he's in Iraq because he really believes he's going to bring a democratic government to the country and then there'll be adomino effect and all the arab nations will want to also be democratic. Okay, so he's one deluded idiot, but you can't blame a guy for trying. Well, okay, so I do blame him.
