I think that if you thank her in any way that lets her know what you're actually thanking her for, then it'll be because you're wishing she wasn't unavailable - wishing she cared enough to actually do something like that. But while it might be the unavailable girl herself, it might also be that you're just wishing that there were someone in your life who could be so open and blatant in their affection for you that they would do something like that, declaring you their property and priority. You need love, my friend. You want to belong to somebody.
