i give it a 7,
because i played the game for 3 whole years and was a member for the last 4 months on the last year, its fun and addicting, but once you do all the quests your kind of forced to become a member if you want something to do, cause they dont put any new quests for the free players, the game is fun if your a member i admit that, but even after a term of playing it it gets boring, and if you can afford to pay 5-10bucks a month for this, then you can probally be playing World of Warcraft and having 6 times as fun when you discovered this game, plus theres at least 700,000 more people playing WoW then RS, sure WoW requires a monthly fee but you can buy pre-paid gamecards if you dont want to use a billing plan, and once you reach the higher levels in RS you'll find yourself spending a days worth of gameplay getting one level up on one skill. so it gets a 7
Pros:
addicting game at start
can be on F2P server all you want
several skills to train
Cons:
almost ALL updates are focused to members
not alot of quests for free players
acounts are hacked alot more then other MMORPG's
graphics are obsolete compared to pretty much anything above the n64's firepower.

I'll give it a 2/10.
It's got lasting appeal for new gamers and children. However, it has grown so popular it's almost unplayable. (Enter a market area and it's overcrowded, full of chatspeak, etc.) Add to that the terrible graphics (for a graphical game - some games don't need good graphics to be good but in this case I think it matters,) repetitive nature, and the crippling for non-paying players, and it really is not good as far as MMOs go. I couldn't play it more than a few days.

I give it an 8, cuz it is really addicting. It lacks graphics, but has a nice medieval theme to it.

-one hundred and one it sucks, made for none existence gamers, and also a very undesirable unsolicited mail in really a lot all pages over the internet. expencive taking section in sport, and also a nasty thanks to do gaming. purchase yet another sport it really is not "mmorp" please and under no circumstances try those sport, dont play ANY of them. those video games ARE the hot POKER AND playing video games FOR each and every age. only a waste of money

its a good game, but when u start playing... you cant break away. it is one of those things that dont let you do your hw, way too addicting!! ill give it a 8 for those reasons.

It's a great game for the MMO newbie, but it gets old, only good if you're a member, AND the graphics just plain suck.
