We were with 50 of my classmates then we were all alone. She taught me to love Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, and many others. But now we were just facing the roaring rapids together in a rubber raft. What does this mean?

Whoa. Somehow I knew this teacher would turn out to be a woman. LOL. I think that it can represent a whole lot of things; I'm not trained in dream interpretation of course, but some stuff just seems obvious.
It could be as simple as the fact that she epitomizes the classic, long-standing desire in you for an intelligent, adventuresome woman in your life. The crowd of students might be the whole world and she the influence for what they're hoping for in life. The rafting is exciting - you didn't dream you were in a calm bucolic meadow - you want challenge in your love life, surprises perhaps in the road your life takes, and someone to share your life with who will meet those challenges with strength and an intelligence you can admire - someone standing right there at your side to help you overcome them. The two of you were provided with the proper equipment for this task in your dream, the rubber raft, and I believe this represents the fact that the two of you would be well equiped to handle life together, also. Your brain is concentrating on images of what you want in life.
