yes it is absolutly pssible it is not 100% catchable..... i guess you could say. here is a website that proves it. or that is trying to prove it

Absolutely. Three of my grandparents and both my parents all had bad eyesight & most of my siblings do as well. It's not uncommon for bad eyesight (or good eyesight) to run in families. I'm lucky, I only need glasses for things at a great distance (20/40 or better in both eyes). Fortunately, bad eyesight can usually be easily corrected these days. President Theodore Roosevelt was nearly put into a mental institution when he was young because his eyesight was so poor that he'd walk into things but they managed to figure it out & get glasses for him (I can imagine that in olden days some people were at a tremendous disadvantage if their eyesight was very poor).

Yes, though it's not completely predictive. My mum and dad both have relatively bad eyesight and have to wear glasses sometimes. I inherited the bad eyesight off them, having to wear contacts all the time, however, my sister must have inherited the good part of their eyesight, as her vision is perfect.

Yes, I have been blessed with poor eyesight, and color blindness. I have had LASIK surgery and my eyes are still continuing to get worse.

Im nto a scientist or biologist, but i would asume it can be. ITs generally a heridatry thing. Normally more then one member of a family would have an eye problem

I think so. Both of my parents, and grandparents have glasses and so do I and now 2 of my kids do also.

My mom or dad or grandparents didn't wear glasses yet I do so not in my case
