Religious Tradition.
They usually don't stay with them because they can't be trusted so why be married to one of them?

we say a little prayer as a thanksgiving for the blessings given to us. why ask?

Food is considered to be one of the blessings we have received from God. We say a prayer of thanks to Him and ask him to bless the food so that it will give proper nourishment to our body.
Well, about those husbands who cheat, the hell with them!

While not all Christians do so, many of us believe that everythin g comes from God and why not be thankful. Don't you enjoy being thanked for something you did or gave freely to someone?
God won't curl up and "die" (which He can't do anyway}-if we don't express our love and appreciation, but I, for one, do not want to grieve my loving Father by my ingratitude.
Check out the following in the New Testament of the Bible:
Ephesians 5:18-21 'give thanks in everything"
John 5:13-14 "give thanks to God for His blessings (i.e. food)
1 Tim.4:3-4 "to receive all things with thanksgiving"
Philippians 4:6-7 "to pray with thanksgiving".
John 6:11"to thank God for food:"! check that one out.

My husband had an affair, I forgave him. Now after 8yrs, when I thought about that affair, it still make me mad. I think it is not easy to forgave the cheater in the long run.

Thanking God for the food and blessing it so we don't get sick if we eat something bad.

to thank the Lord for providing for us. I thought enough about his to get a lawyer and divorce his sorry @$$, best thing that ever happened to me.
