if so, how do u deal with it. I mean like..what do you do to get by each day? Hes in Iraq..and I dont really ever get to talk to him..and i miss him a lot. what do u guys do for support and stuff?

My husband is in Iraq. He's been gone for 9 months now and we miss him terribly, but regardless of the job there, most soldiers can get to a phone or computer daily, so I don't understand why you don't ever get to talk to him.
Family and friends, getting a job, just living your life day to day and regularly talking to your man helps you get through. Other things you can do are send him letters, put care packages together for him with goodies and pictures. They love that and lets them know you are thinking about them. I hope he comes home safe and it gets better for you. Take care.

Well.I was online dating a guy from Canada who i know for more than a year. He left to Iraq on Mid may. He was told that he could be back by end of Aug.
He was able to email me abt 4times til Mid July. Swa him online for 15mins. He informed me that there is only 1 pc with net access and they are only allowed at max 15min. And thats for 250 men. Imagine the Q.
Was suppose to met him on Sep. Couldn't. And we were supposed to me last year Sep when i travelled from Singapore to LA but he had to go for the Ketrina diseaster in New Orleans.
I am so sad. I really do like him. So i am still waiting for more than a year. And i am still waiting even if i dont know it will work out between us. I dont want to date anyone. I am so worried for his safety.
I think what is important to me this that he is back and is safe.

my fiance is also in iraq. he's been gone about a month and it's very hard. i love him more than anything else in the world! and the next time i see him we will be getting married :) luckely i get to talk to him online once in a while. other than that, the only thing that keeps me going is working more than not. i work so much right now i don't have TIME to think about how much i miss him. and by the time i get home he gets online shortly after.
i also just got his address, so i'm going to send him a package soon :) i can't wait!

what? i wouldnt miss him too much,he ploblably already has another girlfriend over seas and is not thinking about you very much.i say you should get another boyfriend until he comes back.and dont ask him any questions about what hes been doing.with what theyre going through over there he deserves some past time entertainment.
