There are several ways.
1. Use a file compression utility. It'll let you store more content within less space.
2. Clean system junk. Delete the temporary files you don't want.
3. Delete all the unnecessary media. Movies you don't watch, softwares you don't use, pics you don't like are all space eaters.
4. Find and remove duplicate files. There may be several copies of the same file in your hard disk. The same song can be the there in different names. Use a utility to identify these files and remove them.
Hope these will work.
Good Luck !!!

Zipping files will save some space, but surely there must be some "stuff" you can get rid of. Next time you open My Documents or a folder you created, click View, click Details. Sort the files by date and see what can be deleted.
If you do not, one of these days you will get the message that a file cannot be saved.

Some good ideas are-disk defragmenting-zipping folders-putting some things on either an external hard drive or somthing more simple like dvd-r's.-flash drives would work too but they do actually get kinda expensive compared to how much data u can put on them.like you can get 2gb flash for $50 or a 80gb external for $70.do the math.

Compress large files that you don't need all the time. Change the format of pictures you have to something that uses less space. Most programs you un-install leave junk behind on your computer, find it and delete them. Clean out your browsers cashe and cookies.

pass to the administration panel, and click on upload or do away with classes. Delete any undesirable/uneeded video games, track, pictures, and extra importantly, cumbersome, unnessecary classes. This helped me a lot!

Same way you increase space in a closet without removing clothes.
You don't.
Delete the porn. You will be ok without it.

Why don't you invest in a little thumb drive or flash drive. They hold an awful lot of information. I have all of my music and pictures on mine. .... that way it frees up your computer for programs.
