Hi,
I have my grandma on my mom's side left but my nana on my dad's side is unfortunally gone, and my stepgrandma doesn't want anything 2 do with me... i have just my parents, grandma, and cousins as my close family.... my cousins r like my brothers and my grandma helped raise me so we're all a close family... My great aunts and uncles r just there but it's kewl... well all that you can do is have the whole family together... for my birthday my whole family comes over 4 a family dinner but other then that we just celebrate the hoildayz together... my mom alwayz wanted the two families to be together not seperated and she got her wish... hope this helps.. u need to make a deal with them that makes and works for you.

No, but consider youself very lucky. You can plan dinner that include the different sets at different times close to the holiday and explain that on the day of the Holiday you are going to relax with each other. They may object but don't go on a guilt trip over this. I would love to have grandparents , I am sure it can be a hassle but also alot of love to pass around. Remember they want be here for ever.

First remember that it takes a village to raise a child and if your the child you already have a head start. Now as far as celebrating Holidays, try and invent a reason to give each of the GRANDMOTHERS their special day to call their own and call it their own Holiday, Another solution would be to forget all but the biological Grandmother.

You and your wife set your own traditions for the holidays. If the grannies and moms, etc, want to join you, fine. Make it covered dish. When and if y'all have kids, the holidays will be more meaningful in your own home. God Bless! Also, make ground rules with the grannies when it comes to your own kids, or they (grannies and kids) will be insufferable

yes. we are a big family. in my father's side alone, they are 10 in the family. his father has 5 or 6 siblings that consist 3 female, so that makes 3 grand mothers for me.
