i've been through my entire registry and deleted every bit of daemon tools and alcohol that i could find cuz my game F.E.A.R. wouldn't let me play because it was detecting a virtual drive or program, and now it lets me play, so i dono why the virtual drive is still showing up.

Some programs - like Ghost, create a virtual drive when it's needed and when the program shuts, it goes away. That's why it's 'virtual'. It's not really there. It just tricks the computer into thinking it is. It sounds like you have a piece of software that creates it.

You can try going to Start/Run/msconfig and 'startup' tab and see if you can identify what software may be doing it...

The only thing I can think of is that you have daemon tools installed. If you do, there should be an icon for it on the taskbar. If you right click it there will be an option to unmount all virtual drives.
