Of all places you could open a mexican restaurant you choose china??? WTF?? seriously I dont think chinese people like mexican food too much. Based on my own experience all the asian people I know never eat mexican. But maybe its just cuz its foreign to them and theyre a little scared to try it. Give it a shot you never know!!!!!!

Geez, some of the answers you get... Like they know anything about China, or anything at all for that matter...
You know, Mexican restaurant might be good. With disposable income quickly rising in big cities, I'm sure Chinese are seeking for new cuisines.
In any case, you should find a partner in China, who knows all the ins and outs of the market, to go into the business.

Chinese tourism to Mexico has exploded in the past five years. Surely there is a market for Mexican food in China. An approach you should consider is to contact the Mexican Consulate or Embassy in China. Their commercial desk should be able to provide you with leads for businesses that would be interested in a joint venture with you.
