He's a good driver who deserves a little more respect. He tore-up the competition here in West Michigan at Berlin Raceway for years. He's had a little bad luck as of late. But watch out because he will make his presence known within a short time.

Johnny is my favorite. He is a real gentleman and is in 2nd place in the truck series. Keep up the great racing. Maybe next year, he will be in 1st place. We can only hope. Miss him on Inside the Nextel Cup. New management and Johnny was out.

He seemed to be too "nice" of a guy for Nextel. He drove the #10 car for several years without too much success. The team did better this year. When put in a tough situation he seemed to always "back off" the power rather than take a stand. I thought he was doing better in the Craftsman Series this year.
I enjoyed his comments on Speed Channel's "Inside Nextel Cup," over the past years, but since he no longer is a driver in the Nextel Series, he was dumped.

I love Johnny Benson. I'm still angry about him getting fired from Speed Channel's show Inside Nextel Cup.

I am hoping Johnny is able to pull out the Championship. He had some good finishes during the summer. With seven races to go, he has a pretty good chance of catching Todd Bodine.
