you always have to go with the truth but if its the stranger against friend be very careful not to insult the friend and embolden the stranger.....a friend is a friend for life and they should understand if you don't agree with them on everything.

a stranger that is right ! There is no other answer,right is right all day long. after the friend realize that, they will be more than happy that you stood for the right, even if it hurt. that pain will soon pass. when they see you are still a real friend to them

depends on the severity of the right/wrong and if i want to make fun of my friend or not.
if its about who did something or its something important, i'm there with my friend.
if they are just arguing over something stupid, then i'll say who is right.
