I just took an ambiem, I don't want to be up all night. I have lost both my cats and do nothing but cry so I figured sleep would be best for me. So maybe take a valium and get some rest tomarrow is suppose to be a nice day.

I have sleep problems and there have been times I took the valium. But withdrawl can be terrible. Valiums are hard on your liver, and lower the immune system. They are good to good they relax you, and help you sleep. It made me take more and more.
now I try other things a hot bath, herb tea, reading my bible and lots of other thing. Not being able to sleep is not fun. Try other things and don't become dependent on the Valiums.

I'd take the valium, but I'd need about 30mg to get off.

Go for the valium.
My shrink says sleep deprivation is the roughest torture known. Doing it to yourself is not cool.
When I go manic, the last thing I want/can do is shut down. I medicate...for sanity's sake.

You should stay up all night and examine your life and consider what the end of it will be.

"Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts." For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:7-16

For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the holy places every year with blood not his own, for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:24-28
