we grew up in the same house and it was always positive and warm in the house. my parents were wonderful although had expectations for us. (like parents should) my brother who is an adult and has a family decided he does not want anything to do with our mother because she let our oldest brother move in with her. he say's things like this to me "i can't wait to see the maggots crawling out of my moms dead corpse!" and "i can't wait to piss on both their graves"! this talk is very desturbing to me and i don't like it. my mother has always been a wonderful mother. my father passed on 13 years ago. my father was a hard worker and provided excellent for his family. my brother is on drugs and drinks 24-7 he also use to warship satin!

I don't think your mother is the real problem here, I think your brothers drug and alcohol problem is to blame. He needs serious help, he may be jealous that your moms attention is elsewhere. He knows and is probably scared about his own bleak future and feels out of control. Sounds to me like he's ranting and raging about your mom just to get any type of reaction from you. Get an intervention going for him and get him the help he needs. I doubt he hates your mom that much. He probably is hating just about everybody right now including himself. Help him before it's too late. Good Luck to your family.

If what you say is true there is not much you can do for brother, other than suggest he seek help. you can lead a donkey to water, but you can't make him drink.... and as far as mother goes, YOU need to inform brother , that kind of talk is NOT allowed around you under any circumstances.... if he wants to disrespect mom, he needs to do it some where else.... YOU have the right to NOT listen to such things..... YOU can love him, help him, talk, yell, scream, or what ever, but until HE decides to get help and change, there is not a thing YOU can do.... he should be accountable for HIS own actions, just like th rest of us.... good luck and God bless.......

I think there is more to the way your brother feels. I can't imagine him being this upset just because your other brother moved in with your mother. You cannot change the way he feels. The best thing to do is to tell him that you do not want to hear the negative things he has to say about your mother.

Your brother seems to be very angry, did this happen before or after your father passed on? This could be a way of dealing with his emotions, try and get him some help with the drugs and alcohol, before he turns into a lost cause.

Your mom has the right to do what she wants in letting your brother live with her. Apparently your other brother has severe problems and could be dangerous if he makes such horrible statements. I would be glad my mom had a man in the house.

It sounds like your brother is jealous of the brother moving in...you might just let him know you respect your mom and wish he would not speak ill of her around you.
