There's a product called UltraInflamX that many of my clients have used to eliminate the occurance of gout due to elevated uric acid levels, but I'm not sure it will work as well for stones.

The best natural stone remedy I've heard of is the freshly squeezed lemon juice and olive oil treatment. Take two tablespoons of each twice a day before meals. This therapy also cleanses the gall bladder and liver.

I'd also suggest you visit a naturopath. If you don't know one, you can find one at www.trinityschool.org. They have them listed by state on their web site. I work with one in Michigan who graduated from their program, and she has my utmost respect. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

You might want to look into the all-natural Alfalfa Complex. It aids in regulation of the acid/alkaline balance in the body. It helps dissolve uric acid so it passes through the kidneys.

You might also want to consider a magnesium supplement (VitaMag). A magnesium deficiency leads to the increase of urine alkalinity, which results in the formation of stones.

Approximately 80% of us don't get enough magnesium.

Alfalfa does contain magnesium as well as calcium, phosphorus, iron, chlorophyll, bitoflavonoids, trace minerals, and vitamins.

Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions or the website.

You should drink just apple juice for 3 days, this will soften up the kidney stone sack (forgot what it is called) after you have done that you need to drink 1/2 cup of olive oil and 1/2 cup of lemon juice. Well there is no true cure for kidney stones but there are a few things that you can do to help you form getting them again.

1.) drink plenty of water, at least 3 to 4 glasses a day, to help your body clean out your system.

2.) drink a pint size bottle of cranberry juice at least once a month, this cleans out your urinary track, which prevents kidney stones.

and remember that kidney stone are caused by a build up of waste in your urinary track, the waste particles stick together to make the stones. by following these steps you can prevent future kidney stones from happening.

And if you already have one, you need to go to the doctor and they can give you some medicine that will help with the pain. but there is not much that you can do, except sit and wait for it to pass.

I had a kidney stone while I was pregnant it was horrible, I was in the hospital twice and put on morphine drip. Worst pain ever!
I was told my kidney stone was because I had too much calcium in my body. I was pregnant and increased my calcium like you are suppose too. I was drinking lots of milk, vitamins, and tums for heartburn ( which are calcium). So I had to stop taking all of those things even though I was pregnant.
I discovered this program and I was successful.

A uric (YOOR-ik) acid stone may form when there is too much acid in the urine. If you tend to form uric acid stones, you may need to cut back on the amount of meat you eat.

Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine gives very good instructions on how to deal with kidney stones and other urinary tract problems.
Gout is also discussed at length.
