Anywhere is cheaper them the good old USA. Try Argentina, the dollar seems to go a long way. The US is getting to expensive that all our good companies are heading overseas, so that should tell us something. I heard France offers free health care to Retiree's I wonder if that is true?

Mexico is a good place to retire. health care is not that expensive, neither is utilities. I must add that you do not want to live in any border cities of Mexico and the US because these cities are dirty and dangerous. As you go deeper into Mexico the cities and the beaches are much cleaner and safer. you could live like royalty on retirement income.

My wife is from the Phillippines. It is a beautiful tropical country with great beaches.
Its very cheap to live there. You can have several maids and live very cheaply.
The Filipinos speak English very well and like Americans, and American culture.
You can hop on a plane and do some great shopping in Hong Kong in 2 hours, they are in the South China Sea.
Maybe I'll see you over there!

maybe i shouldn't tell you, then everyone will know........my chinese wife and i are planning on retiring to china in 6 years. they pay no property tax there, there is no sales tax, i can leave all my money here and retrieve it from an atm easily. homes are half of what they are here and are really, really nice. you don't need a car because public transportation is great and cheap. the weather is the opposite of northern u.s. and a little warmer too....
we can buy a weeks groceries for $15.00......check it out.......
