but my bff saw Evanescence play live and she said her voice ain't all that beautiful
the thing is, she sings so softly and so low that you can't hear her because of the loud background music...

Amy's voice is in my view the terrific lady making a song voice for rock. I evaluate Evanescence completely rock, i don't understand who got here up that they have been pop, via fact maximum of their music is a strategies too heavy to be interior the pop kind

Her voice is very nice. The true test of one's vocal ability is singing live though, and I've heard she's mediocre on that front

Vocally... I think she brings something fresh to rock music in that it is possible to put classical elements with rock and hey, it works!
