Did any of you fall in love, kept it platonic, and still had the same intensity of feellings for The One for longer that two years? How strong a platonic love (aka emotional relationship) can be? Who does it better a guy or a girl?

I feel you bro.
I had a relationship with a girl that ended all of three years ago and have dated others since, but it is still there. Logically I know its a trap and that the lows with here would be pretty low, but they highs that we had make me still think about it.
Love in that emotional sense I think is for young kids. When we get older, love becomes "willingness to compromise to show that you care"
