I always find time on the weekend to do a good cleaning but throughout the week, we always do a quick pick up and sweep job if things get messy. When I get tired and cannot get motived. I (this may sound stupid but for me it works) take a timer and give myself about 15 per room to do the best I can do. When the timer is up, I move to the next room. Length of time depends on how big the room is. I tried this with my kids and it is a game! We get so much work done and it is fun! Try it!

When I was working everything had a cleaning schedule. Now being retired and moving from one retirement state ca. to Oregon I have been working out more in the yard. I vaccum once a week; dust whenever it needs it; Always make sure my kitchen and bathroom are cleaned daily which don`t take long. Load and empty the dishwasher. This is a shock to my hubby because I was a clean freak. Now I am ready to go fishing or a ride up the hills and explore. My slogan is live and let live and let someone else worry when I am gone as long as I stay active and happy now....

A cleaning schedule only works if you have a maid or a housekeeper because your schedule gets interrupted by this thing called life! You can try to use a schedule but if life happens make sure the schedule is flexable enough to handle it.
A bathroom needs to be cleaned everyday, as does the kitchen to prevent spreading of germs and all that gross stuff that happens. Did you know when you flush the toilet it sprays into your bathroom? Always keep toothbrushes, cups, soaps covered to prevent illness from the toilets germs. Same with towels keep them in a linen closet.
The kitchen has the same concept keep things covered and clean!

A schedule would be ideal, but is a little unrealistic for most. If you can stick to it, and it works for you, do it. If your life is hectic, and your budget allows, consider hiring a maid to come every week, two weeks or four weeks. They really are not as expensive as people think, and you can have them clean only the areas you really need help with if you want to save a little money. I recommend hiring a cleaner that works for him/herself, they are better and more reliable, and you can get to know and like them.

Take a weekend and get all human beings in touch to get the abode into shape. as quickly because it is sparkling, then save to a schedule. protecting a house sparkling is less difficult than cleansing a grimy abode. I save lysol wipes under the bathing room sink to do speedy sparkling ups. you additionally can pour bleach interior the loos earlier you bypass away for the day so as that they are trouble-free to swab out once you get abode..in case you have animals that would get into the lavatory, (or childrens) close the lid and close the bathing room door. i'm rather a sparkling freak....Monday I wash each and all the laundry from the weekend (finally ends up being 4-5 lots in a extensive front loader), scrub down each and all the loos, vacuum, mop, and sparkling out the kitchen particularly nicely. to maintain up for something of the week, I wipe surfaces down as quickly as I be conscious they're grimy. I Microwave a bowl of lemon water to maintain it smelling clean another day, and run a speedy vacuum over the carpets and tile another day to boot. Friday, I make certain each and all the laundry is accomplished, exchange and wash sheets, towels and mop the flooring. i comprehend that all and sundry weekend i'm going to be working around and not have time to bathe something, if I start up out sparkling then on Monday it is not certainly one of those headache.

Clean when time allows. With hectic life styles of today, one cannot cast a schedule in concrete. It must be flexible.
