Windows cannot password protect a folder without third party programs, here is the one i use, this way i password protected my thumbdrive!!

You really can't password protect a folder. That's why you have log-ons (except the administrator can get into any folder).

However, you CAN password protect a file if using MS Office.

If you are administrator, you can set protection so that other's can't open it by setting protections.

u cann't set private password folder as for as i know. but u can do,

- u can set the folder only xp user(adminstrator) can use
or
make the folder hide. whenever u want to use the folder u can to view all hide folder then do yr thing later make it hide.
