Makeup has been used by humans for thousands of years in both for love and war. In the aspect of war, it was used to mark oneself as a member of a particular tribe or clan as a means of distinguishing between members and rivals. Cosmetic makeup on the other hand, has exactly the opposite intentions.
Throughout evolution the use of cosmetic makeup and self-decoration has been used by females through the natural selection process. In other words, to help females maintain a competitive edge in attracting the males with the most desirable genetics.
The purpose of facial makeup including lipsticks and rouge/blush is to display the female's sexuality to males in an inconspicuous manner, almost as an unspoken innuendo. Blush is used to simulate flushing of the face that occurs during female sexual climax. Mascara & Eyeliner enhance the darkness of the pupils, making them appear larger - since pupils will enlarge at times of excitement. Lipstick, which typically is more dramatic red color than the lips natual tone is a reference to the increased bloodflow to the labia during arousal and climax. In the same context, a lip gloss would give the appearance of moistened labia.

The main point of makeup is to accentuate the features of your face. You wear eyeliner and mascars to highlight your eyes. you wear lipstick to highlight your lips and mouth. also, women might think lipstick makes their lips more kissable.

i wear lipstick because it is a great mositizier for my lips. And because the red makes my blue eyes shine.

Simple. My wife has a very pretty face. When she puts on her lipstick she is twice as pretty.

Maybe because it keeps our lips nice and moist, not to mention the brighter colors make us look better than plain ole lips.

women use lipstick to make them look the look they want..like if they want a sexy look they would put on a sexy colour...
