Did you go on to full term, delivering a healthy baby?
At what point did you test positive?

I am just a little paranoid as I recently miscarried at only 5 weeks. I had such a low HCG level, I did not test positive until 1-2 days after my missed period. And then lost the baby. I just want to be sure if I have a low HCG level to start - I still have a chance of having a successful pregnancy.

My period was suppose to start today but did not....

Any who can offer their experience on this matter would be appreciated... no obnoxious male responses please!

I have never tested positive until approximately two weeks after my periods are due as it takes me a while to amass the hormones needed to sustain a pregnancy. I have 4 beautiful healthy children now. Maybe the stress of waiting has delayed your period or you are pregnant. Maybe there was something wrong with the foetus last time, it may not have had anything to do with your HCG level. Not all women are the same and as you see, it is possible to sustain a pregnancy when you are slow to build HCG levels. Best of luck to ya hun.

it happend my close friend was pregnant for 4 months and the tests still said negative. be careful if you think your pregnant. Eat right and dont stress your body out too much. You need your energy and stress has harmful effects on babies. dont drink or smoke at all. stay away form those who do. Google baby sites and join one for moms to be. they are great for support and theres lots of information on them.

have fun! but be safe. -Faye
