It was the WORLD Trade Center. Companies from all over had offices there, and people from all nations did business there. The repercussions have caused inconveniences to anyone anywhere who wants to fly, and the Islamic renegade baby-killing school-burning suicide-bombing murderers who did it have attacked several other countries since! Or have we forgotten Madrid?

OK as a Brit as well, it was fully covered on the TV and more, in general I feel the loss was felt, but then again we as a country had been more than used to terrorist attacks on our country for many many many years, think tower of London, think post office tower, think Manchester town center, think bull ring in Birmingham, think para barracks in aldershot, think..................

We had a large USA base down the road from my then home and pretty much every one in the town knew an American / are linked to them / work for them.....so we felt it and unlike the USA we are still having bombs thrown at us....think the Lockerbie plane think the London buses or does it only count when it happen here in America??? Just wondering as in the past week 15 ENGLISH service members have died fighting alongside the USA and yet you are hard pushed to find anything wrote about it.................JMO but please enough already the whole world does not revolve around this one horrific act..........

i'm from the uk, and the only thing it did was ruin tv and the newspapers by being broadcast or printed all the time. if it isn't stories about what happened, it's some program about people who used it to fake their deaths. pain in the ****. oh and i was on guard duty (british army) at the time and it caused our guards to get more strict and frequent which was a pain in the ****.
