Well an accidental dose of E85 isn't gonna do Major Damage to your vehicle, however it won't get you very far either...

But why would you want to find out ? There are dozens of new Flex-Fuel Models on the market now .
And there are Millions of them on the road.
And THOUSANDS of pre-owned ones for sale.

Ford started producing them in 1983
Chrysler started in 1998
G.M. (who now acts like they invented ethanol) started in 2000

Putting E-85 in a car that was not designed for it can cost alot of money.
The fuel lines and injectors as well as the fuel pressure regulator must be E-85 ready.

DON'T DO IT. E-85 is highly corrosive for engines and components not designed to use it. It also gives about 25% lower yield per tank.

E-85 is a great alternative fuel, but only in vehicles designed to use it.

It might run...but just to be sure, go ahead and fill up you headlight fluid with the special halogen fluid. Your car will run for sure then.

The fuel wont combust the fuel properly in your engine, and not run

1. you get crappy gas milelage.
2. the acids formed by the alcohol will cause severe corrosion in your engine......

if u dont retard the distributor or cam timing,, u will blow a hole in your piston!!! and the mileage will be in the toilet
