I have cable broadband, and every time I play a game like madden online there always is lag, Never smooth, any Ideas of how to get a stronger connection?

Actually I can add that I have a 50' ethernet cord rand to my xbox from my modem, I didnt want to say it cause I figured ppl would say that was the problem, is there faster ethernet cables?

Broadband cable shouldn't be causing lag unless you're using a wireless connection w/ a slow wireless card. Cable speeds should be more than sufficient. I assume your using some sort of wireless adapter. Buy a faster wireless adapter or the one for the Xbox or connect it via ethernet cable directly to your modem. If you are using a direct connection well.... your internet provider sucks! A cable connection should be a 56Mbps connection. (Top end speed in ideal conditions.)

I shouldnt be lagging??? Are u sure u have cable connection???
I u have wireless, check ur bridge or get one if u dont have one??? U might also try to turn ur computer off when ur playing, this causes lag sometimes.

i have the same problem with madden, it only seems like that on that game, halo 2 isnt really laggy....im getting another online game for it soon so im gonna test that out, i havent played ncaa online for a while but that wasnt bad....so it might just be madden cus i doubt its your connection.

you have 50' of lag, get a shorter cable

you need faster internet, no other way to put it
also, if you are connected using wireless, try using a ethernet wired connection, it will be a faster connection
