I am having a pelvic ultrasound tomorrow ordered by my doctor, not because I am pregnant. Would the technician be able to tell if I am pregnant or not? My fiance and I have been trying to conceive and if I am, it would have taken place within the past two weeks? Does anyone know if an ultrasound would show this so soon?

Absolutely not. The soonest ANYTHING would show up, and you would need the vaginal probe, to see it is a 5 week gestation (three weeks past conception). So they wouldn't see anything if it had taken place in the last two weeks.

I don't think you will see anything with a pelvic ultrasound because the waves cannot penetrate through bone and if the uterus is still within the pelvis you will not see anything. Your best bet would be to ask for a transvaginal while you are in there with the technician. Good luck

Yes an ultrasound would be able to tell if there is a fetal sac developing or not at 2 weeks along. However the tech can't say anything to you, that is up to the doctor once he or she is sent the report from the radiologist.

Two weeks is to early to see anything on sono. Have you had a positive pregnancy test yet? You can see a sac at four weeks with a transvaginal sono.
