there is the Plunge pool which is directly below the falls and I read it is 200 feet deep, then there is the rapids below that and I read it is 40 to 50 feet deep, and then there is the whirlpool basin far below the falls, and I've always been curious how deep it is and has anyone ever scuba dived in it ?

The plunge pool is about 100 ft deep.

The whirlpool is 125 ft deep. The circulation of the whirlpool changes direction twice each day at 9 PM and 8 AM when the hydroelectic plant above the falls reduces and then restores 50% of the water flow over the falls.
