They don't tell him to wrestle that way. The Rock used to more high flying stuff when he was Rocky Maivia. When he was the Rock,I don't think he was allowed. Sabu doesn't really like high flying stuff and prefers mat wrestling,but they don't pay him to mat wrestle they want him to do high flying moves. It's not WWE either, he was on an interview before he was on WWE. When Rey mysterio came in, WWE told him not to be fast paced and told Taz to not do so many suplexes. If John Cena did more high flying stuff, it would ruin the look when cruiserweights do it. Plus he weighs more than cruiserweights.
Look at when Brock Lesnar tried to to a shooting star press.

Actually he showed more talent on SD but since hes been on raw they have "Edgified" or "pusified" him. Which ever term you want to use. And not everyone can be as much of a high flier like RVD, Jeff Hardy, ETC.

that's wrong joe c. wrestling is not fake, how can you fake a chair across the head or going through a table... but to answer your question it's because he is a street fighter mostly and there is not any ropes on the street.

It's because he sucks at it.Remember Wrestlemania 22? When he wanted to do the crossbody but HHH dodge it.So he just sucks at ariel moves,brawler moves and technical moves.He just punch and punch and he don't play dirty. BOOOOOORING!!!!! But I have to admit his STFU is kinda ok,but he just sucks at wrestling.
