Sometimes people really do want to live a new life after an ordeal, and just want an affirmation from others that they can do it. Don't deny him that if he seems to be really trying. Maybe you can even go over his plans with him, or help him get a job. Who knows? Your support may be the little something that motivates him to really work things out.

But don't let down your guard, either, especially if you know he's prone to doing something illegal again. Give him an opportunity to show that he has changed. If it doesn't work out, it's time to say goodbye.

One of the most important things you can do is introduce your boyfriend to positive people who are doing positive things in life .Also, network as much as necessary to help him find a job ASAP. Prison does change people, some for the better and some for the worse. Because you and this guy have a child together, make it your priority to learn what changes prison brought about in this guy's life, for the sake of your child and yourself.

Make sure he sees and complies with his parole officer so he can stay out of prison.

Do you really want this kind of example in the child's life? YOU do NOT need this aggravation, and neither does your child.

observe his daily and personal habits, his social circle, the use of language etc. if he changed for the better it is easy noticeable, if he does'nt my advice for you is to leave him quietly with your kid, your kid need a better place to grow up.

Take your child and get away from this guy. He will only drag you down. Go now, your concern should be for yourself and the child not him.

Dont help him get out of prison. If he did the crime, he must do the time.
