He wrote about his feelings as an African American.

He became a famous writer in the Harlem Rennsaisance.
Langston Huges died of cancer when he was 65 years old.

In addition to poems (novels and plays) , Langston Hughes wrote over 47 short stories. Unfortunately, many of those stories are out of print, and consequently, are not published on the internet. I would suggest that you go to your locate library and check out: "Short Stories" by Langston Hughes.
