kawasaki mean streak 1600-does it accelerate well? does it sound decent stock? how is it overall?

looking for a bike, cannot test drive localy, like the looks of the mean streak as well as the comfort level just sitting on it.

They aren't as fast as the competition. A Harley V-Rod, a Honda VTX1800, and a Yamaha Road Star will all kill the big Kawie in a drag race. No Jap bike sounds good stock, but with proper exhaust mods, they all sound pretty good.
